From the recording Wandering Whilst Im Wondering
My Mate who I grew up with in Broome has built himself a career living and working offshore on all types of Marine services. Started as a teenager on the pearl boats north of Broome now he works on the big ships offshore around Australia. He is a proud Dad to his young fella and I would always see him sharing on social media about his Wife and Son and calling his son a little fisherman so I was inspired by seeing this and wrote this song about him. I think I captured his story nicely, I really enjoyed writing and recording this song for him.
